Great tips Brian, love the unique approach and looking at photography and what we are shooting in a unique way. How many more shots of Thors Well do we need? or want… here is to an excellent creative 2018.
Thanks. It got me to think in a lot of directions and made me wish I had known some of these before now…like when I did go to the Grand Canyon several years ago.
Just another little tip from me: I am trying a bit of astrophotography and shooting at night to re- boot my interest. Nothing fancy, Iβm not that good but it certainly makes for some interesting shots.
Great tips Brian and original. Tip 1 – Funnily enough just yesterday I went out to shoot stormy seas crashing against a lighthouse. It was a superb scene but I was getting the same shots as everyone else. Β Then I saw some sea birds hunkered down behind some rocks to keep out of the weather. They had their heads tucked under their wings and told a story about the sea that day. These shots were so much rewarding to me than the others.Β Love the tips about panning and motion. I never thought about using alternative lenses so thanks for that. Β Great video, as always. Thanks.

Thank you. Mind sharing what music you used in this video? Happy New Year.
Great tips for trying new creative shots. One thing I did was buy some inexpensive extension tubes and played with macro and different focus shooting.
Rocking good tips, Brian. Happy 2018!
Thanks Brian. Happy NY buddy. π

Just what I needed! Thanks
Hi Brian, I am trying to shoot more blue hour as my funk buster. Thanks, Ron
Great tips/suggestions; I'm just getting into IR and using my Lensbaby lenses (atlhough manual focus can be a real challenge).
Great ideas – the most important is getting out and shooting.
Great advice , ?
