  1. Interesting pronunciation of yucca… πŸ™‚ BTW… your travel choice through Texas is interesting as well… maybe another time you could drive more southerly and into the Trans-Pecos Region and shoot shots in areas that numerous TV shows and commercials are made… more specifically, Alpine and Marfa Tx. area. Very exotic area… specially if you travel through Big Bend.

  2. I shoot there once several years ago (in March I believe). We were forced to leave at sunset, was that the case for you as well? Park rangers drove up and down the read until all cars left, bummer.

  3. You need to invest in a cheap pair of walkie-talkies so you don't have to yell at Jodie or whoever when you're photographing them (or they're photographing you) at distances. You'll love what they do for you!

  4. Wow, that place is crazy! It would blow my mind πŸ™‚ Really love the portrait shots you got of Jodie, so cool. And wearing her red coat too against that back drop of white sands is an awesome way to use colour, as to when in a few vlogs ago, you both wore red! Love it! !
Fab images πŸ™‚ & the colours in the sky just after sunset with pink, purple & blues are just gorgeous! Fascinating place πŸ™‚

  5. Amazing images! I wish they would have had the park open for another 30 minutes or so, cause I did not want to put my camera away when that sunset was just getting really good, to run back to my car so we could make it out in time.

  6. Looking at your road map …. I think you went through my little Town of Seminole, Texas on your way to Austin. Sorry I missed you I would have bought you guys lunch. I know you are in Austin now or somewhere further down the road. Enjoy your trip.

  7. Looks like the real challenge in this location is conveying that it's actually a sandy desert. My Canadian eyes kept seeing frozen tundra, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself otherwise!
