Interesting pronunciation of yucca… π BTW… your travel choice through Texas is interesting as well… maybe another time you could drive more southerly and into the Trans-Pecos Region and shoot shots in areas that numerous TV shows and commercials are made… more specifically, Alpine and Marfa Tx. area. Very exotic area… specially if you travel through Big Bend.
The 'White Sands' are not sand but are Gypsum crystals. They also have a strange quality which is that they stay cool to the touch even on the hottest days. Its a fabulous place.
I shoot there once several years ago (in March I believe). We were forced to leave at sunset, was that the case for you as well? Park rangers drove up and down the read until all cars left, bummer.
You need to invest in a cheap pair of walkie-talkies so you don't have to yell at Jodie or whoever when you're photographing them (or they're photographing you) at distances. You'll love what they do for you!
Wow, that place is crazy! It would blow my mind π Really love the portrait shots you got of Jodie, so cool. And wearing her red coat too against that back drop of white sands is an awesome way to use colour, as to when in a few vlogs ago, you both wore red! Love it! ! Fab images π & the colours in the sky just after sunset with pink, purple & blues are just gorgeous! Fascinating place π
Amazing images! I wish they would have had the park open for another 30 minutes or so, cause I did not want to put my camera away when that sunset was just getting really good, to run back to my car so we could make it out in time.
Looking at your road map …. I think you went through my little Town of Seminole, Texas on your way to Austin. Sorry I missed you I would have bought you guys lunch. I know you are in Austin now or somewhere further down the road. Enjoy your trip.
Looks like the real challenge in this location is conveying that it's actually a sandy desert. My Canadian eyes kept seeing frozen tundra, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself otherwise!
BTW, as I've done a translation of the description of the vidΓ©o and added the French subtitles. I can do that time to timeβ¦ (it is quite time consuming π )
WOW What a place!!!
Nice but uh…'yucka' lol!
Have you ever seen the movie β127 Hoursβ? He was alone too…wandering.

I would be going crazy there , no wonder you go back. White and pastels, beautiful portraits. Jodi's glasses are perfect for those shots.
Wow! Amazing shots there bro! You just keep leveling up for every week. Well done! βΊοΈ ??
I could do with a Jodie in my bag on some occasions :-). Looks beautiful there.

Couldn't you just fly the drone to find the closest pristine sand?
Why do you have a carabiner clip attached to your backpack strap?
Lovely shoot, great clicks… well done
Does Jodie gets paid for modeling for you? Lol
Nice shots man π Amazing place and those colors of the sky in the end – unbelievable!!!

No low flying shuttles to look out for ???, cool place?
Hello,
Did you use any filters?

Have a safe trip! I hope you enjoy Austin!
When I see Jodie with a red jacket, I know we are heading towards her been in a shot π

Did you have to overexpose the sand as you do with snow to avoid dulling/colour change ofΒ the sand?
Enjoy the content, Brendan! Great images?
