The light is already diffused. Thatβs why thereβs not much difference. If you take the panels off youβll see the big difference. Seem kind of sketchy to me but now I think Iβm just going to get one of this. Pretty helpful review ??

Have you tried using one of your softboxes in the same position as the ringlight and place the camera in front of the softbox? Same effect but you don't get the weird halo in your eyes.
Another option to try with the softbox is putting a small LED light in front and above and a little to the side of the camera to create a slight shadow under the nose. Blending soft and hard lights can make for some nice soft light but with more contrast because of the direct light.
You deserve more views and subs. Thanks for the tips! I like the ring light not a huge fan of the reflection it gives in your eyes. Awesome video though!
